John R. Grab

John Robert Grab, 93, formerly of Brookfield, died March 9 in Indiana, PA. Born March 6, 1928, New Rochelle, NY, an Army veteran of World War II and a firefighter of New Rochelle F.D., he retired to the Rollingwood community from 1988 to 2018. Do you miss The Hearth? John did, too.
A son of William and Helen (McHale) Grab, brother of the late William Grab and Irene Grab Thornell, and uncle of the late William Grab, Catherine (Grab) Powell and Maureen (Thornell) Ross; he is missed by beloved nieces and nephews Barbara Cushing and Marilyn Grab, both of Lowville, NY; John Grab, Daniel Island, SC; and Chauncey Ross, Indiana, PA.
